  • Log move question

I want to move the IIS logs from the default location on the c: drive over to the d: where the other log files are. w/ exhange 2010 is this as simple as changing the path from the default to the new location as it would be in regular IIS? or are there services to restart and other locations that need to be changed?

    Any one attempted this?

    thanks,

    Re: Log move question

AFAIK it is just the same as other IIS installs -- you are not moving the Exchange virtual directories, just the diagnostic logs.

IMHO always do an IISReset after any config change, "just in case"

      Re: Log move question

The fact that Exchange is involved is completely insignificant. Change the path, run IISRESET.
Although if you want to keep the logs together, stop IIS, move the logs, change the path, restart IIS.
