  • Free Busy Info from second GAL/Address List

We have Exchange 2007 and we have recently split our company into two.

    Company 1 and Company 2

We have created separate Address Lists, GALs and OABs for both companies and users have had Custom Attribute 1 set depending on which company there are part of.

However we are having a problem if a user from Company 1 invites a user from company 2 we are unable to see their Free/Busy info in Scheduling assistant this seems to effect Outlook 2007 users and vice versa

If I set Outlook to use LegacyFB then Free/Busy will show up, so I am assuming something is not working with the Advisability service or something?

Any suggestions on where I can look?

    Thanks

    Dave

I would say it's an issue with autodiscover, test it with Outlook (Ctrl + Left click the tray icon) for both companies and if any errors pop up, fix them.

I have looked at the TEst email connectivity tool within Outlook and the errors I get when testing with a company1 address are the same as when testing with a company2 address.

I have created autodiscover DNS entry in the new DNS zone
