  • Exchange 2010 Access Denied

    Hi,
I receive an access denied error when connecting the Management Console on my new exchange 2010 server, I had an install problem and had to remove the first exchange 2010 server i build but have removed the objects from the AD and used ADSIEdit to remove the server.

The method that you used to remove Exchange 2010 is not supported. The only supported method is to use add/remove programs. If the uninstall doesn't work, then you have to wipe the machine and then DR it with a clean installation.

You have probably damaged the complex permissions structure. You might get away with running the prep commands again from the command line. Otherwise it will probably be a call to Microsoft support due to get them to clean it up for you.
