  • Exchange 2010 not able to receive e-mail

    Hi Friends,

i have exchange 2010 setup and i am able to send and receive e-mails locally without any problem and also i am able to send e-mails out through smart host reason of using smart host is because i am using home dsl connection and my ip is dynamic.

i am using wwwdnsexitcom for Dynamic DNS services and now when i am typing my domain name its pointing it to my router. i had install its client also so when ip will change it will update it.

My question is now what should i do so i can start receiving e-mails from outside. do i need to do some port forwarding? please assist me

    Thanks in advanced.

Re: Exchange 2010 not able to receive e-mail (Please Help)

You will need to create MX records in your external DNS
Also you will need to forward port 25 from your router to your Exchange server
