  • Exchange 2003 + Exchange 2010 Linked Mode

    Hi,

I'm after some after some advice on the below -

    Current Exchange setup -

    Windows 2003 Forest (A)
    Exchange 2003

    New Exchange setup -

    Windows 2008 Forest (B)
    Exchange 2010

Create a trust between forest A and B.

Is it possible to link AD accounts in forest A to mailboxes in forest B? Is it an issue that forest A schema has info about Exchange 2003?

    Thanks

Re: Exchange 2003 + Exchange 2010 Linked Mode

You will need to create "linked mailboxes" in the resource forest (B)

      Hi,

      Thanks for your reply.

Will the presence of Exchange 2003 in forest A cause any issues?
