  • Setting up exchange 2007 OWA

    Hi,

I have Exchange 2007 on my own private domain and can send and receive emails. I am using an ADSL with static IP addresses (41.134.24.9 - Internally routed to 172.16.0.10). I would like to know how to set up exchange 2007 OWA so if I am on the internet I can type in the address (HTTP(S)://41.134.24.9/exchange) and connect to one of the mailboxes. my domain is nctsclab.com and me as a typical user MartinG. I am new to exchange 2007 and have got already help from a few of the forums/ suggestions (This is how I set up my send and receive of exchange 2007). I am not sure what other information you require but where do I start

You will need a certificate and would probably be better to set up a public DNS record to map your IP to mail.yourdomain.com

See Sembee's site for all the details you need for your certificate

This is the article being referred to.

You don't use the IP address, you will use a host name. You can't get SSL certificates issues to an IP address.
