  • Autodiscover Broken

    Hello all and thanks in advance.

    I am having some problems with autodiscover. We had an issue with Busy/Free information, this lead to troubleshooting EWS. During this time, the EWS virtual directory got hosed. We recreated the directory/app manually and added to the MSExchangeServicesAppPool.

    Our busy/free problems went away and users were able to access the out of office assistant again.

    However... ever since then, autodiscover has been failing. If I try accessing the xml file via the web, I get the following error;

    <Autodiscover><Response><Error Time="13:02:46.2977680" Id="238028701"><ErrorCode>600</ErrorCode><Message>Invalid Request</Message><DebugData/></Error></Response></Autodiscover>

    Any help is much appreciated in advance.

      What do you mean you created the directory manually?
      That almost certainly means it will not work. The Exchange virtual directories should be recreated using the various commands - for EWS it will be new-webservicesvirtualdirectory. The use of which is documented on Technet.
