  • Problem Changing Long Email Address Suffix

My users login to the domain and exchange server as [email protected]. How can I effectively change these long email ID to a short domain suffix eg. [email protected]. I still want both email IDs to be valid. Thanks.

Can this be achieved using E-mail Address Policies?

    Thanks.

Re: Problem Changing Long Email Address Suffix

The login has nothing to do with the email address.
For the email address part, then an additional or modified email address policy is what you will require. You will set the email address policy so that the correct email domain is the default.

It's actually the UPN suffix that you need to deal with, not the email address.

You can add a new UPN suffix in the Active Directory Domains and Trusts mmc console, then you can modify the user accounts to use the new UPN suffix.
