  • Shut down procedure for Exchange 2007

    Hello...
I need to shut down my CAS server to replace a memory chip. What would be the proper procedure to accomplish this? Do I need to also shut down my SCC mailbox servers??

AFAIK just shut it down -- warning users first, of course!

On Exchange 2007 CAS only does web services, so Outlook users will not be affected.
If the server is also hub transport then email flow will stop. Otherwise nothing special.
