  • Exchange 2007 Monitoring Public Folder Actions

    Hi there,

We have a client that makes extensive use of Public Folders. There is one particular folder that is causing trouble. When they copy things into it, it stays there for a couple of days and then disappears. I suspect that someone has managed to create a dicky rule in Outlook but don't envy the idea of checking every PC.

Does anyone know of a way to monitor all actions on a particular public folder so we can see who is causing the problem?

For now they have created a separate folder to store everything in and that works but we'd still like to get to the bottom of what is going on.

It isn't possible to log down to that level in Exchange.
Recreate the folder and move the content. Any rule will then become null.
