  • Creating SPF records for Exchange 2003 and 2007

    Hello there
I was wondering if I could get a heads up on creating SPF records in Exchange 2003 and 2007. What is the best way to create them and where are they placed within DNS? The servers I am working with are SBS – apologies in advance if this is a DNS question

    Many Thanks
    MIS

It's indeed a DNS question. In Exchange the only configuration is to activate and configure Sender ID filtering within the ani-spam solution.

Since I haven't configured one for a while I'm not sure if the googled information are actual, but as a start it works for sure.

SPF records are not exchange specific, and are NOT in your local DNS, rather the same nameservers as your MX records, out there in the public for all to see,
use this link to help you set them up. Can be used for any type of mail server.
