  • Bulk mail enabling security groups

Any ideas? I have a number of security groups migrated with ADMT that i need to bulk mail enable via powershell. I have a list of the 'identity' in a .csv file that i can use to pipe into the command. Anyone have any idea of the correct syntax? Im thinking:

    enable-DistributionGroup –Identity 'domain.internal/groups/allusers' -Alias 'Allusers

This of course works for one user. But i need it to work for multiple users.

    you'd need something like
import-csv to read the file and then for-each to create a loop

I know there's a syntax like that, but i'm generally not real good at loops and things like that

Thanks for your input. You familiar with PowerGUI from Quest? Reckon i can do it with that... going to have to test in a lab.

        Update:

Managed to do it with a very simple PS command:

        get-group -organizationalunit "nameofOU" | enable-distributiongroup
