  • OWA 403-Forbidden: Access is denied

I am the process of deploying an Exchange 2007 hub/cas server in a remote site (both physically and AD wise).

I am getting a 403-Forbidden: Access is denied error when trying to access the site via OWA. I will get prompted for authentication if I type either http: or httpsI cant post url's yet as this is my first post). I have installed a GoDaddy wildcard cert using the ps command Enable-ExchangeCertificate, configured the autodiscover, oab, and EWS internal and external url.

Our main AD site is already running Exchange 2007 and I need to bring this office as well as a few others onto 2007.

    Thanks!

IIS permissions appear fine. Can you be more specific? I created a new mailbox on the 2007 server and I receive a 404 -File or directory not found. If I create a mailbox on the 2003 server and then move the mailbox to the 2007 server, I will continue to get the 403.

Try searching for CAS proxying since this is what you are using when only installing CAS/HT in the other AD site.

You have to configure InternalURL and ExternalURL approriate in both sites.
