    hi
    i managed to perform an in-place upgrade from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 sp1 everything run smoothly
    i also purchased SSL Certificate (UCC) From Godaddy
    i followed Microsoft guide how to install & the naming convention also goes OK

    but some outlook clients receive pop-up message from Autodiscovery
    About Username And Password if i type it everything good untill i restart outlook
    then i have to type it again ....
    i think its something with IIS ssl Security thing

    som1 can shed light on this

    You did what?
    An in place upgrade? Are you sure, as that is not supported and I am surprised that Exchange let you do that at all.

    It probably is a security issue - ensure that you have the authentication types on the virtual directory set correctly. Basic, NTLM, WindowsIntegrated and WSSecurity should be enabled - ie not Anonymous.

      oops sorry ...i meant coexistence upgrade ...

        Hi,

        Check your DNS record.

        If your using outlook 2007/2010, Uncheck Outlook anywhere option in account setting. It will resolve your issue.

          If you have Outlook Anywhere enabled in Exchange then autodiscover will immediately enable it again. Unselecting the option in Outlook is a waste of time.
