  • Sharing Different Outlook Address Books (Exchange 2007)

    Hi,
I work for a large transport company and we are now starting to rake up a large customer base with which we need to keep on top of with regarding to e-mail addresses. What I am wanting to do is to create 3 maybe 4 different Address Books (i.e. Suppliers Address Book, Distribution Address Book) which would be displayed in the Address Book drop down of Outlook and available to everyone within our organisation.
What I am wanting to know is what would be the best way to carry this out in Exchange 2007. (I once had to do this in Exchange 2003 a long time ago and unfortunately my memory isnt as good as it once was).

In addition - I would like the contacts to only show in their own Address Book and not in the GAL.

    Thanks

you may be better off using a shared contacts folder in a public folder.

not sure if you can do it using the OAB/GAL without having the details in AD
