Re: Dydns configuration for exchange 2010

Do you mean a dynamic DNS service?
If so, then it is unlikely to work if you are using one of the service domains rather than your own.

    1. You can't set autodiscover.
    2. You can't SRV records.
    3. You can't issue SSL certificates against the Dynamic DNS service.

The most you can do is configure the domain in accepted domains, and enable the option to have MX records (if available) so that email can be sent to it. You will unable to test large parts of the functionality of Exchange for external use because it is dependant on full DNS zone modification being possible.

Re: Dydns co figuration for exchange 2010

If the ISP has blocked port 25 inbound then you are going to be unable to test Exchange in the way that it is designed to work. You would have to use a a dynamic DNS service that can do mail hop for you to direct the email to the alternative port.

However the same restrictions that I outlined above are still going to apply.
