  • Exchange database

    Just started learning about exchange 2010 and a little confuse on mailboxes and the exchange databases.
    I understand that exchange has storage containers for a database and every database has a mailbox. So my question is, every time I create a mailbox am I creating a database.

    No, a database can contain multiple mailboxes
    You use separate databases to improve efficiency by e.g separating users in different sites into different databases

      Think you for clearng that up, do you know of any trainng material that explains ESE database and what all takes place when a mailbox is created.

        No -- and I doubt if Microsoft will release it without some sort of NDA!
