  • Free/Busy Information not available for internal Outlook 2010 users

    I have a external client using Office 2010 on our Exchange 2007. I tried changing the reg key below to 14.0 (instead of 12.0) to reflect Office 2010 w/out success.

    I would like help modifying the following reg key to work for Office 2010/Exchange 2007. The reg key was suggested in the following thread:

    Page: petri.co.il/forums/showthread.php?t=42819
    Title: Free/Busy Information not available for internal Outlook 2007 users

    Reg Key:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\O utlook\Options\Calendar]
    "WorkDay"=dword:0000007c
    "CalDefStart"=dword:000001e0
    "CalDefEnd"=dword:000003fc
    "UseLegacyFB"=dword:00000001
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\O utlook\Options\Calendar\Internet Free/Busy]
    "Read URL"=""
    "Write URL"=""

    Thank you.

    Not really sure why that registry change was suggested.
    This is the regular problem with autodiscover. Autodiscover controls the availability service as well. If you look through this forum and others you will find that issues with autodiscover are frequently discussed.

      Thanks for the reply. I'll go through the autodiscover threads to try and find a solution.
      The suggested reg key worked for the client when using Office 2007/32bit Windows.\\
