  • Exchange 2010 Mailbox Limits

I am getting ready to deploy exchange 2010 standard sp1 in our office. At present we are running from pop3 mail accoutns with all the mails stored in PST's. Is there anyway in which you can set individual mailbox size limits, so that i can keep the backup jobs down. Dont know if you can set individual limits on the standard version?.

    Thanks

Yes, you can set limits at the organisation, mailbox database or user levels.

For simplicity, I suggest you group your users by limit and put them into separate databases, so you manage a few different limits instead of many
