  • Can you increase the size of users' distribution groups?

I can fit about 100 addresses (adresses only. No names or anything) in a single DG. So I make a bunch of little ones and then make a new one that holds the little ones. Big headache. Anyway I can increase this? Excahcnage 2007 on Server 2008. Outlook 2003.

    Thanks in advance!

You can increase the size to 256kb (it is 32kb by default).

However a nested method is the best way of managing it.

Great. Thanks. And by nested, you mean exactly the way I'm doing it?

Nested - small lists that are members of a bigger list. You can create very large lists that way, although Exchange/Outlook is a poor bulk emailing tool. If you are regularly sending to large numbers of people a bulk emailing application (or even an external service) would be the best option, as it can cope with bounces, unsubscribe requests, reporting etc.
