  • DS access drop directory servers every 10 minutes

    Hi

I have migrated exchange 2003 server (installed on windows 2003 server and with directory services) in to exchange 2007 server – windows 2008 server in a different hardware.

The old exchange 2003 cleanly removed from the server and now its act as a domain controller.

Here’s a strange thing every 10 minutes once exchange 2007 can’t discover the directory server DC, GC and automatically disappeared from the server settings on EMC, mail delay occurs. But again in the 1-2 minutes it automatically discovered the servers and working good. This is happening for every 10 minutes.

I have attached some screen shots and need your great ideas. Thanks.

    Hi,

How many dc/gc do you have. if you have simple env then just hardcode DC/GC. No need to do automatic discovery.
    Thanks & Regards

DC and GC are running on the different hardware.

Exchange itself doing an automatic discovery of directory servers & GC right?

Earlier exch2003 we can assign manually DC and DC.

Even i have used some commands to manually assign the GC and DC.

      No luck.
