  • send connectors exchange 2010

    Hi

One more question honest! hopefully a quick one

As the exchange 2010 is all working well - is there a way that if emails are sent from a particular email domain they can be sent to a different smart host from the exchange server. As some domain's I have, have the messagelabs outgoing facility and I would like certain domains to go to there and for the others go to the isp smtp.

    Thanks again

Certainly in Exchange 2003 it was possible to have send connectors for different address spaces. IIRC you need to specify the target domain name rather than an address space of *. Not up to speed on Exchange 2010 yet but I'm sure it's possible.

It is possible to differentiate for recipient domains, but not for sender domains.

is there software I could put inbetween ISP SMTP and exchange so depending on the domain it could go to different smart hosts?
