  • Exchange 2010 Licence

    Hi all,
    here is my question.
We are a school of about 200 users and we want to buy an exchange 2010 for our messaging.
This will be installed on one server and users will be connecting to it trough ms outlook or owa.
What type of licence should we buy then?

    Thanks.

    Re: Exchange 2010 Licence

You will need one server CAL and about 200 client CALs -- you probably will only need standard CALs for a school environment but check the differences.

You will also need licensed copies of Outlook and may also need Windows Server CALs, depending on what you have already.

As always, the only definitive answer will come direct from Microsoft, preferably in writing!
