However the current limit is only 10240kb.

i had set the individual mailbox via recepient configuration > Mail flow settings > message size restrictions > set to 20480kb for that user for maximum message size (receiving message size)

and i use my gmail account to send to that user. However the gmail account received a bounce msg :

You need to change it on the Receive Connector as well.
After changing it, restart the Transport Service to allow the change to take effect.

      Hi simon,

Thanks for your reply. where is the receive connector located? I couldn't find it in organization configuration > hub transport.

Are you referring to Microsoft exchange transport in services.msc?

do you have any spam filtering engines in place at the front?

Ie, alot of our clients use mimecast.... and that has it's own limitations.

Nope. We only have a hardware firewall but i dont think that restricts the size.
I restarted the transport service and still cant work

                Hi,

To send 13mb file plz set the size limit to 18000.00. As per my calculation the file will grow to 17704.96 [13mb + 33% increase during content conversation]

Additionally can you send 13mb file to internal users. one user sending email to another user.
                Thanks & Regards

do you have multiple receive connectors,

the message size can be set on receive connector, storelevel and user level.

and have u restarted the transport service after making changes.
