  • Autodiscovery public dns record

    Hi,

I have exchange 2007 on sbs 2008 and i want autodiscovery to work.
My question is- if my public dns doesn't support srv records, how can i make it works? which certificate should i use since sbs 2008 only support a single name certificate.

    Any help will be blessed
    Thanks,
    Moshe

    Re: Autodiscovery public dns record

You are wrong about SBS 2008 only supporting a single name certificate.
If you use the wizard to generate the request it does, because Microsoft's partners for DNS all support SRV records.
However you don't have to use the wizard to create the request, it can be done in the usual way. Once you have created and processed the request, it does need to be enabled using the wizard.

      Hi,

Thanks for the help. I read The article and it seems very easy to understand.
