  • Exchange 2010 migration to Exchange 2013

Currently we are using Exch2010 installed in the server. But the client side Outlook is configured using POP3.

We will replace current Exch2010 server hardware with new one.

We are going to migrate the Exch2010 to Exch2013 on the new server hardware.

My question is, how about the client Outlook setting? Is there any additional setting that need to be done for us to use the exchange services on the Outlook client side?
We don't want to use POP3 anymore.

You will need to change the outlook clients to use RPC/HTTPS (which you can also do with 2010) but you will need a public certificate

Lots of information online about the process, and you will see lots of benefits moving away from POP
