  • The test mailbox was not initialized.

We have SCOM 2012 and Exchange 2010. In SCOM, there are constantly message popping up:
The test mailbox was not initialized. Run new-TestCasConnectivityUser.ps1 to ensure that the test mailbox is created.
The user exists however, it is in the AD in Users, directly under the root. I can run the cmdlet to recreate a new user, but that doesn’t solve the problem. Resetting the password doesn’t solve the problem.
The exchange server is 2008R2 and the SCOM server is 2012R2

I think this is Exchange rather than SCCM so I am moving this to the Exchange forum

What is happening is that the user is created, but the mailbox is not. Try sending a message to the user - this should create the mailbox

      Hi Ossian,
The mailbox is visible in Exchange (not in the GAL). I did send a mail to it and I received a confirmation of delivery.
