  • PST Import issue Exchange 2010 SP1

Has anyone had this issue before?. We are using Exchange 2010 Service pack1. When we do the PST import command. To move a users PST folder in to there new exchange mailbox.

New-MailboxImportRequest -Mailbox "User Name -FilePath \\Myserver\d$\PST\USER.pst

It imports all the users sent email items and all the subfolders on there inbox, but it does not include any of the emails in the inbox and the subfolders.

I get the Get-MailboxImportRequest to check the status of the import and it just says its in progress. So far its been importing a 1GB PST all weekened!.

Is there any size restriction to importing PSTs?.

    Thanks

        try -identity instead of -mailbox

        see if that helps

I also would not recommend doing anything with PST files over a network share.
Run it from a local location only. PSTs on a network share is the quickest way to corrupt them.
