  • DNS Round Robin and DNS Public records (Exchange 2013)

    Hello,

I am wondering how I can set up the mx public records to point the mail clients towards any of the two sites I am creating. Wouldn't I need to set a different priority for each physical site?

In the picture I attach for clarification, you can see there are two sites, the red and the blue one, but in the DNS Public space I think I will need to set a priority, hence, not being able to direct the mail clients to the two sites.

    I am a bit confused.

    Thanks in advance.

For incoming smtp the mx with the lowest number will be used and if the mailbox is located on the second exchange it will rout throw the site to site

      Thanks Moshiko.

But how can I perform Round Robin from the Public, if the priority is already set?.

      I mean:

All the clients out there on the WAN will point to just one site (the one with the lowest priority). If I got this right, I am not an expert.
