  • 2 CAS Exchange 2013 , nlb or dns round robin

    Hello,

I was about to set tup two CAS Servers with NLB and came across this article:
    http://exchange929.blogspot.com.es/2...-2013-cas.html

Where I basically read that DNS round robin is now preferred in Exchange 2013, over NLB.

Would you agree, taking into account that it is a 2 CAS Exchange environment , as the one I am setting up ?

      Thanks Moshiko.

Not Microsoft NLB because it is unreliable?

I had a few problems with microsoft nlb so, i suggest you to work with dns round robin or nlb that can monitor services and url.

If you have the DAGed mailbox role on the servers, you cannot (IIRC) combine it with Microsoft NLB (clustering is not compatible with NLB)
