i would like my exchange 2007 to receive all email for my accepted domain. This includes genuine valid emails as well as spam email for my mailing domain.

I heard of Catch all mailbox concept. Please could you let me know

by enabling the catch all mailbox transport agent my requirement to forward to particular mailbox will work or not?

The clients will sometimes make mistakes and we would like to receive such emails.

I would strongly recommend against a catch-all mailbox, because they are massive spam traps.

Catch all is a really really bad idea.

          http://blog.sembee.co.uk/post/Why-yo...mailboxes.aspx

I have sites that DROP over 10,000 messages a day to non valid recipients.

Take a look at the screenshot on this blog posting:
          http://blog.sembee.co.uk/post/Truly-...msoft-ORF.aspx

Take a look at the number under "recipient validation".
That site drops 100,000 messages a day to non valid recipients.

If a sender makes an error in the email address, then it is better for them to get an NDR immediately and not continue to use an invalid address. They will then correct themselves.

          Simon.

I agree they are not a good idea. If you're having problems with people missing emails when the sender spells their name wrong you can just add common misspellings to their account as a secondary address.

Eg, [email protected] might also need [email protected] and [email protected]
