    simple mail forward to another ad member (same server). Is it normal for the tracker to only show delivery to the originating member?

    for example,

    User1 is now having all mail forwarded (without a copy) to User2. [email protected] emails User1 although in this case, exchange tracker only logs delivery to User1.

    Having contacted User2, the mail has arrived.

    If you have forwarding enabled at the domain level, then message tracking should show the complete delivery cycle.
    If you have forwarding enabled via a rule then it will show in two separate processes, because the message is delivered to the mailbox and then passed on.

      thanks for your reply. the message was definately configured at the domain level, although i will check the outlook rules just incase that has caused this to happen.
