  • Exchange 2013

    Hello,

I have a domain name COMPANY.COM and I get mail services from Godaddy.
In addition, I have Exchange Server with whom I want to send and receive emails for news.company.com. My question is, whether I can set up an MX record for NEWS.COMPANY.COM and continue to work in parallel with GODADDY services for COMPANY.COM?

Yup. Shouldn't be any issue with that.

You can also use an Internal relay domain in Exchange 2010 and higher. If a domain is configured as internal relay then any email address that is not recognised by Exchange is relayed to an external provider specified in a dedicated send connector. In this scenario your MX records would point to Exchange and the send connector to GoDaddy. With this setup you can share the same address space across 2 email systems.
