  • Installing new certificate fails

I am trying to install a new certificate on my Exchange Server 2013. I had no problem creating a certificate request and creating the certificate at my certificate provider was also successful. But when completing the certificate request at my Exchange server I get this error "A special Rpc error occurs on server <MYSERVERSNAME>: The source data cannot be imported or the wrong password was specified."

    Any ideas?

Corrupt SSL certificate would be my guess. Create a new CSR and get the certificate reissued by the provider.
