    Hi ,
We are using Exchange 2013 , we are facing a strange issue.
When we tried to send the email from exchange web edition to specific user its working fine but when i am sending email to the same user from my outlook its not working ..it says invalid email address.
    What could be the reason..
Facing issue with specific email address , which is inside the exchange only..local user to local user only..

    please help..
    Thanks..

It's the autocomplete cache in Outlook.
    - In a new message, start typing the person you want to send to until you see their email/name pop up
    - use the arrow keys to highlight the email/name and then press the delete button
    - start typing their name again and then press CTRL+K (it resolves the name from your contacts and available address books)
    - send your email.

If you want to clear the whole cache, close Outlook and open it by running outlook.exe /cleanautocompletecache
If you need to do it for multiple users then check out this blog post: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ashour/archi...ete-cache.aspx

Unless you have edited one and not the other, there is a discrepancy between the recipient addresses in line 2 (cn=Recipients_cn=Ada [email protected] ) and the last line

It is the cache or you're replying to an old email.
This is the address it's trying to send to:
              Code:
              IMCEAEX-_o=BayonetVentures_ou=Exchange+20Administrative+20 Group+20+28FYDIBOHF23SPDLT+29_cn=Recipients_cn=Ada [email protected]
In the message, remove whatever email address is listed and then fully type in the smtp email address. You should find that it sends successfully.
              Regards,
              Jeremy

I should note that you can add in these old addresses if you are experiencing this widespread.

First you need to convert the address to X500. Following the instructions in the link I posted, this:
                    Code:
                    IMCEAEX-_o=BayonetVentures_ou=Exchange+20Administrative[email protected]xyz.local
                    converts to this:
                    Code:
/o=BayonetVentures/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=Adam [email protected]
You then edit the user in EAC to add the address:

                    Then enter in the address.

                        Hi ,

In my query of address , I notice that additional character of f93 is there ..what exactly it means...

do i need to remove it while entering that X.500 address in specific user..

also i notice that , after adding x.500 and save it and close it , it stays at there only , where as in other users properties, its not there..is it correct ..

                        Thanks,

Can you post the most current NDR?

Could you also post an example of this too?

If you're still getting an NDR after adding the X500 address then it probably wasn't converted correctly.

I now see the problem (and forgot I ran into this before). In the link it includes the "@domain.com" when it shouldn't. So it should be converted to this:
                              Code:
                              /O=zz/OU=EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/CN=RECEIPIENTS/CN=xxGR00
I'm not positive but I think either:
                              Code:
                              /o=zz/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipents/cn=xx xx -+SeCFL00bb2
                              or
                              Code:
                              /o=zz/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipents/cn=xx xx +SeCFL00bb2
                              would be the address.
You can add both to the user without issue.
                              Regards,
