  • Error 403 Forbidden Access

I have access to OWA and I can read and send emails no problem.

However I cannot open any attachments as I get the 403 Forbidden message you do not have permission to view this directory.

I also get that same message when I click on Logoff link.

Any ideas to which directory is OWA referring to?

Environment: SBS 2008, Exchange Server 2007, OWA running on SSL.

    Thanks in advance.

Is the server fully up to date? Exchange directory structure doesn't work in the same way as a normal web site, so it isn't usually something you can easily fix by enabling an option.
I would get the SBS BPA (links on http://sbsbpa.com/) and run the Exchange best practises tool from the toolbox and ensure that neither of those flag anything.
If Exchange 2007 isn't on SP3, then you should install that and then reboot the server.

    Simon.
