  • Default receive connector

    Hello.

When modifying the default receive connector (Exchange 2010), could I tick only "Anonymous users" in the "Permissions" Tab, and then untick all the options in the "Authentication" tab?.

The idea being letting only Anonymous in this connector, to receive emails from the internet. Since they are anonyous, I thought that maybe no Authentiacion method was necessary.

    Thanks in advance

    Depends.
It does no harm to leave the others in place and if you have more than one server you will need to leave the others for inter-server to work correctly.
Personally I just enable anonymous and leave the others as they are - the key thing with Exchange is to leave the platform as native as possible.

    Simon.
