  • Closed group of users Exchange 2010

I want to create a group of email accounts who are able to mail only to each other, not to other users in the domain or email accounts outside the domain, is it possible to create this in Exchange 2010.
We are a large school. Only the employee’s use Exchange 2010, students are not using Exchange. A certain group of students follow a lesson in which they have to have a mail account and be able to mail each other. In the past, we had a dedicate old Exchange server in their domain for these lessons, but we migrated to a single domain.

    Hotmail?
Less issues to worry about, no licensing, and AFAIK you can still use Outlook as a client

Google Apps free would be another option. Register or use a sub domain.

It can be done with Transport Rules, but of course you still have the problem of them being able to see the GAL and perhaps other information that you don't want them to.
