Full Access Permission not working

  • Full Access Permission not working

    On our Exchange 2000 system we have a group called IT Mailbox Admin that has full access permissions on all the mailboxes.

    Now when the mailbox is moved over to our 2007 system it still shows the permissions when you manage Full Access Permissions, however you can not now look at it, you have to remove that permission then re-add it, to make this work.

    So I ran this command from ems get-mailboxdatabase | add-adpermission -user "IT Mailbox Admin" -AccessRights GenericAll

    However this still does not let me have access to mailboxes.

    Any suggestions?

    I am facing the same problem please help.

      What we did was create a mailadmin account and assign it as a full exchange administrator.

      ESM > Org Configuration > Add Exchange Administrator

      That seem to fix it for us
