  • Duplicate emails after user migrations

Hello, I am getting a really frustrating issue with duplicate emails coming from recently migrated users.

I am migrating users from a parent domain to a sub domain. I am using ADMT3.1 and then moving the mailbox in exchange. The mailboxes are moving from a Ex2003 to Ex2007 server. It doesn't seem to make any difference if the client is 2003 or 2007 and it doesn't seem to effect everyone all the time. It's very random. Renewing the Outlook profile seems to fix the issue but I don't have time to do that some 350 PC's. Any ideas?

do you use outlook caching? (OST files)

at a guess, outlook tries to resync the OST and the mailbox?

Hello, thanks for you reply. have tried disabling caching. It's new emails that are an issue.

I have also tried disabling suggested address caching.

I'm going to try some Outlook switches today e.g "Outlook /cleanprofile" I can automate that into a script or something. I really hope this doesn't mean I have to recreate 350 outlook profiles!!!

Any other tips tricks to automating the profile creation process?

Outlook switches did not work, since found out profile recreation also did not work.

Will soon find out if new Windows profile will work.

          Please, please anyone?
