  • OWA not working - Exchange 2007

    Hi,

I am having problems with OWA. It suddenly stopped working. After some troubleshooting I realized that if I disable SSL encryption than I can access OWA without any problems. I have absolutely no idea why this happening. Does anyone have any idea?

When I try to access https://server.domain/owa, I am not getting any certificate errors. All I see is "IE cannot display webpage". Have also tried accessing from Firefox. I am trying to access within the LAN. Let me know if you need more details.

    Regards.

Do you only have issues with OWA?
If so, have you checked the SSL settings?
Make sure that client side certificates are not required.

Try going to just https://server.domain. Do you get the IIS default page?

Also, check out the IIS logs for any clues whether the traffic is hitting it and what result code is being given.

Finally, any firewalls or proxies (including the Windows Firewall) getting in the way?

Sounds like your SSL certificate is corrupt and should be replaced.
Is it a commercial certificate or a self generated one?
If the certificate is bad then the SSL channel isn't established and the connection isn't made.
