  • Change Exchange Activesync Mailbox policy

I installed a new SBS 2008 server for a customer over the weekend. We have a couple of BlackBerrys we are using with AstraSync to sync the calendar and contacts. AstraSync locks the BlackBerry after 5 minutes of inactivity.

The deafault Exchange Activesync Mailbox policy has MaxInactivityTimeDeviceLock set to 5 minutes and I would like to change this to 'unlimited'. How do I do this? Thanks,

I went into the default SBS active sync policy using the Exchange Management Console and unchecked the button which let you set a device inactivity timeout. I know you can set the timeout to 'unlimited' using a commandlet based on what I read so I am hopeful unchecking this box will not enforce this policy.

      Thanks
