  • Mail relay through IIS SMTP

    Hi friends

We are using Exchange 2007 Ent Sp1 edition. We have installed a windows server in DMZ and install the SMTP service on that server. We have open 25, 389, 53 ports internal to DMZ and DMZ to internal also open the port 25 from DMZ to external and external to DMZ. We have configure IIS SMTP and put the server's IP in IIS relay.

My problem is i am able to send the mail through exchange then goes to DMZ and external domain, but not able to recevied mail via the DMZ smtp server, please suggest where am i wrong.

    Thanks
    Atp

Any reason you are still on Exchange 2007 SP1? I would suggest upgrading to Exchange 2007 SP2 with the latest rollup.

I have a guide to setting up an SMTP gateway here:
