  • outlook deleting calendar items

    when i had Office 2007 outlook would randomly delete calendar items. when i upgraded to SP2 this problem went away. now that i have the office 2010 beta it is deleting calendar items again. i can tell that it is the same problem because when i have the person reforward the item the accept button is greyed out just like 2007 would do.
    does anyone know how to fix this issue? the entire point of having a outlook calendar is so i dont have to memorize my schedule - like i have to do now in case an item disappears

    The behaviour you are seeing is not normal.
    Presuming that this is using an Exchange server, then Outlook does not delete calendar items unless it is told to. The usual cause of items being removed from Outlook is a PDA synchronising with the mailbox.
