  • Exchange 2007 Cluster Solution

I have Single Windows Server 2003 Active directory Infrastructure.

I have 2 servers and I want to implement 2 node CCR.
After configuring the Windows Cluster, When installing the Exchange 2007 Setup in the First node I have to select the Active Clustered mail box server role so other roles will be dselected, that i know, But I also want to install Hub Transport & Client Access role in the same Server.

    So my question is ,
    1) Should I install the HT(Hub Transport) and CA(Client Access Role) in the Same server ?

    2) If yes then Whether I have to install these (HT & CA) roles first and then install the Active Clustered mail box server role ?

    3) First install the Active Clustered mail box server role then I install the (HT & CA) roles ?

    Pl give me suggestion.

    Re: Exchange 2007 Cluster Solution

Simple answer, you can't with Exchange 2007, clustered mailbox server have to be installed separatlly from HT/CAS server roles.

They role design you want is only possible with Exchange 2010.
