  • Lock user folder in Outlook 2007 under Exchange 2010

    Hi there,

A user of mine opened a new folder in her mailbox and now she's going on a maternity leave. She want's that specific folder with her personal mails password protected. How do I do that?

    You can't.
If someone else has full access to the mailbox then they will be able to see that folder. There is nothing that the user or administrator can do to block that.
If the items are personal then those items need be removed from Exchange.

There is no per-folder password protection available in Outlook/Exchange.

    Simon.
