  • How to disable OOF in Exchange 2007

    Hi,

I don't want to my users to send OOF messages to few external recipients/domain. Is there any way to this in exchange 2007?

As with many things, it is done on a per domain level.
Remote Domains tab in EMC, Org Config, Hub Transport. You would need to add domains to the list. However I think it is on the format that you would change the * to NOT send the OOTO message and then add the domains to the list that can accept the OOTO message, not the other way round.

Are you sure it is that way? If yes, that will not serve my purpose.

I might have to wake up my lab to test this.

      Thanks,

Yes, I am sure it is done that way. Otherwise I would have posted different information.

The only way that you can do it on a per address basis is by having all users add the addresses to their COntacts, then configure dual OOTO messages in Outlook.
