  • Issue after upgrade to ex 2007 SP2

    Hi!

We are using Exchange 2007 and right now I`ve upgraded it to SP2.
I have about 20GB large database and 35 users and fullt text index is already created...

Now after I installed SP2 now 20 minutes, cidaemon.exe and cisvc.exe proccesses take 100% CPU all the time...

I don`t think it`s an error, but why is this happening? No users are connecting to server at this time...

Otherwise all of rest works pretty well...

    Thanks!

That is connected to something indexing. Probably unrelated to Exchange. Do you have indexing turned on? If so, turn it off.

After installation SP2 you have to be patient, because the whole database will be reindexed. It could be about 1hour or more, depends on hw.
