  • Meeting Request to External Rec asks for U/P

Got a strange problem happening with one of my customers. They have just moved from 2003 to 2007. The problem they are having is when an Outlook 2007 client creates a meeting request, and types in the address of someone not in the internal namespace, Outlook prompts for a username and password.

Whats interesting, is in the Auth box, it actually shows the EXTERNAL FQDN for the exchange system (ie the OWA url).

Searching on Google has not turned up anything, and its got me pretty stumped. I've check all the internal URL's are configured as internal on the CAS servers, but I cant for the life of me work out where outlook is getting the external namespace for, nor why it needs to authenticate when you put an external recipient in.
