  • OWA will not access some mailboxes

We recently moved off of 2003 and went completely to 07. After moving the mailboxes and configuring our firewall to point to the new box everything was working great until 3 users tried the OWA access. They are receiving an error stating that AD cannot be accessed. This is only affecting 3 users out of 200. I tried setting one user up with a new profile and starting over, but still get the same message.

The details of the error are:

Re: OWA will not access some mailboxes

This is one of the common issue while doing migration

To use Active Directory Users and Computers to set permissions for users and organizational units
    1. Open the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in.
    2. On the View menu, click Advanced Features.
    3. Open the properties of a user who cannot log on to Outlook Web Access.
    4. Click the Security tab, and then click Advanced.
    5. Select the Allow inheritable permissions check box if it has not already been selected.
    6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for each organizational unit between the user object and the top-level container.
    7. Allow time for replication to occur.
